Website Protection, in plain language
Backup
We keep a copy of your site. If something breaks or gets deleted by mistake, we restore it. A backup is made once a week. Each copy is deleted 30 days after it is created.
Monitoring
We keep watch on the site. If it goes down or misbehaves, we notice it, not your customer.
Free inside Webcare, also sold on its own
Webcare includes Website Protection at no extra cost. If you only want the protection, it is $79 a month. See Security.
Part of it you do yourself
In the client portal you change texts, logos and key information yourself, and you can hide or remove sections. What the portal can't do, meaning bigger changes, new sections and bug fixes, we handle under Webcare.
Webcare questions
Is Webcare required?
No. Webcare is optional and applies to websites we built. Without it we still make your changes, but each one is billed separately, based on how complex it is.
What if I need more work than fits in a month?
If the work goes beyond 8 hours in a month, the remainder is billed separately. We tell you the price before we start. Unused hours do not carry over to the next month.
Can I get Website Protection on its own?
Yes. Website Protection is also sold separately, at $79 a month (details). Inside Webcare it comes at no extra cost.
I edit texts in the portal myself. Why would I need Webcare?
In the portal you change texts, logos and key information yourself, and you can hide or remove sections. A new section, a bigger change or a bug fix can't be done there. Under Webcare, we do that for you.
